Frequently asked questions

How the joint venture works, what an engagement covers, and what to expect on scope, timelines, and security — answered plainly. If your question isn't here, ask us directly.

That's exactly the kind of situation FEDLIN's lane exists for. We can walk through what a client or partner is actually asking for, assess where your current web/API infrastructure and access controls stand, and do the hardening work to close real gaps. We won't promise a specific certification or a guaranteed outcome on someone else's review — but we can make sure you're not walking into it unprepared.

It can be — FEDLIN's lane covers web/API hardening, zero-trust access controls, and compliance-gate readiness, which matters for businesses whose clients or partners scrutinize who they work with. We don't claim specific certifications or guaranteed compliance outcomes; FEDLIN can speak directly to what's relevant to your particular regulatory situation on a call.

Yes — all three shops operate as an AI-native team. AI is embedded in how we build, automate, and monitor, not bolted on as a surface feature. We're transparent about this because the clients we work with ask. For clients where that raises data handling or compliance questions, FEDLIN's lane addresses it directly: the AI infrastructure we provision runs inside your own boundary, governed and hardened by FEDLIN — not on a shared cloud platform where your data is someone else's concern.

It depends on the tier. At Tiers 1–3, your website runs on Cloudflare's edge and your automation tooling runs on managed SaaS platforms (GoHighLevel for CRM and lead workflows). FEDLIN applies web and API security controls at the application layer regardless of tier. At Tier 4, a private infrastructure option is available: FEDLIN can source, provision, and harden in-boundary hosting — including self-hosted AI infrastructure — so your data doesn't leave your own environment. What's right for your situation is part of what a Modernization Assessment covers.

Continuit Web is a joint venture of three independent specialist shops — Canvex (web design & UX engineering), Automate Shift (automation & AI operations), and FEDLIN (security & compliance) — that operate together as one managed service. Instead of hiring three separate vendors, you get one accountable team covering your website, the automation behind it, and the security around it.

With three separate vendors, you own the coordination — chasing handoffs, resolving conflicting priorities, and being the one who notices when something falls through the cracks between them. With Continuit Web, one team is accountable for the whole outcome. The web build, the automation behind it, and the security around it are planned and delivered together from the start, not bolted together after the fact.

Canvex is a boutique web design and frontend engineering studio. Automate Shift builds AI automation for growing businesses — lead capture, AI voice agents, and CRM workflows. FEDLIN handles security and compliance: web/API hardening, zero-trust access controls, and compliance-gate readiness. Each partner is described the way they describe themselves — Continuit Web is how the three work together as a single joint venture.

Continuit Web is structured as a managed engagement across tiers, not an à-la-carte menu — each tier bundles a level of web, automation, and security work appropriate to where your business is. As your needs grow, you move up a tier with the same accountable team, rather than adding a new vendor. If you're only looking for one lane in isolation, Canvex, Automate Shift, and FEDLIN also work independently — reach out and we'll point you the right direction.

Pricing depends on scope — the size of the web build, the complexity of the automation workflows, and the depth of security work required — so we don't publish flat rates. After an initial scoping conversation, we put together a proposal specific to your business. Book a call and we'll walk through what your engagement would actually look like.

Our published process runs roughly four weeks to initial launch: Week 1 is scope and architecture discovery, Weeks 2–3 are parallel specialist build (Canvex, Automate Shift, and FEDLIN working simultaneously rather than in sequence), and Week 4 is security review and launch. After that, it moves into ongoing managed operation rather than ending at launch.

Yes — managed continuous operation is part of the model, not an add-on. After launch, the team monitors performance, maintains the automation workflows, and keeps the security posture current, with regular reporting so you can see what's actually happening.

Often, yes. A lot of clients come to us juggling separate vendors for the website, the lead/automation tooling, and security or IT — with nobody actually accountable when something breaks between them. Continuit Web consolidates that into one team covering all three. We can review what you have today and tell you honestly what should move over and what should stay.

No. Modernization doesn't require a full rip-and-replace. Where it makes sense, we connect a modernized front end into the CRM, scheduling tool, or internal system you already use, rather than forcing a migration. See how this works on the Legacy System Integration page.

Yes, if the situation calls for it. Self-hosted automation is an accountability purchase, not a cost-saving one — it makes sense when a client, a regulator, or a compliance requirement means 'we use Make.com on shared infrastructure' is no longer a sufficient answer. Automate Shift provisions the workflows; FEDLIN sources, provisions, and hardens the underlying infrastructure. Whether your situation actually justifies the move, and what scope and cost that implies, is what a Modernization Assessment determines. It's the starting point for most engagements — a review of your current website, search and AI discoverability, automation, and security, so you see the actual gaps before committing to any specific work. It's not a sales pitch dressed up as an audit; it's a scoping conversation with a defined output.
